About these terms
These terms apply when you use randomslawn.com or hire Randoms Lawn & Hardscape LLC, operating as Randoms Lawn Care & Hardscaping (“Randoms,” “we” or “us”), for work in the Tampa Bay area. If the written estimate or proposal for your job says something different, the written estimate or proposal controls. By using our site or requesting service, you agree to these terms.
Information on this website
Our pages and guides offer general information, not legal, engineering or financial advice. Watering days, fertilizer rules, tree permits and HOA requirements change and depend on your exact address, so confirm them with your city, county, utility or HOA. Photos show real Randoms projects; results on your property depend on its conditions.
Free estimates
- Estimates are free and carry no obligation.
- An estimate isn't binding until you approve a written estimate or proposal, by signature or in writing by email or text.
- Estimates reflect the conditions we can see during the visit. If we uncover something hidden, such as buried concrete or debris, large roots, unmarked irrigation lines or unsuitable soil, we'll explain the options and get your written OK before doing extra work.
- An estimate stays valid for the period written on it.
Scheduling and weather
Start and finish dates are good-faith targets. Rain, lightning, extreme heat, tropical weather, material deliveries, permit timelines and watering restrictions can move them; we'll let you know by phone, or by text if you've opted in, and reschedule as soon as we can. When a tropical storm or hurricane watch or warning is issued, we may pause work and secure the site. We aren't responsible for delays caused by conditions outside our control.
Your responsibilities
- Give our crew safe access: gates unlocked, pets secured and vehicles moved when needed.
- Tell us about private underground items we can't see, such as irrigation lines, low-voltage lighting, septic systems or pet fences. When digging requires it, we contact Sunshine 811, which marks public utility lines only.
- Permits and HOA approval: unless your written proposal says we'll handle it, getting HOA or architectural approval is your responsibility. When a permit is required, the proposal will say who obtains it. Approvals are decided by the city, county or HOA, and we can't guarantee them.
- Aftercare: new sod and plants are living things. Follow the watering plan we give you, within your local watering rules; results depend on watering, weather and care after we leave.
Payment
Prices and payment terms are stated in your written estimate. Larger projects may require a deposit before we order materials. Unless your estimate says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is complete, and recurring services are billed on the schedule we agree on. Ask us which payment methods we accept. We may pause future scheduling on accounts with past-due balances.
Our workmanship
We are licensed and insured. If something we built or installed isn't right, tell us promptly. We'll come back and look at it, and if the problem is our workmanship, we'll address it as described in your estimate or proposal. Any warranty, including how long it lasts, is limited to what's written there. Our workmanship commitment doesn't cover damage from storms, flooding or other weather events, lack of watering, pests or disease, normal settling and wear, or changes made by others after we finish.
Photos of your property
We may photograph our work for job records, quality checks and to show examples of our work on our website and social media. We avoid showing faces, house numbers and license plates. If you'd like a photo of your property removed, email gabriel@randomslawn.com and we'll take it down from our website and social accounts.
Reviews and feedback
We welcome honest reviews. Our review page lets you post publicly on Google at any rating, and private feedback goes directly to the owner. Reviews should describe your real experience with us.
Text messages
Our text program, Randoms Lawn Care & Hardscaping, sends messages about estimate requests, appointment scheduling and reminders, and service updates, plus occasional promotional texts if you opted in to those separately. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. To stop, just text STOP to (813) 359-9722. For help, text HELP or email gabriel@randomslawn.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your number.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent Florida law allows:
- Our total liability for any claim related to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
- We aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, such as loss of use.
- We aren't responsible for pre-existing conditions, underground items that weren't marked or disclosed to us, or damage caused by weather, storms or other acts of nature.
Our website is provided “as is.” Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Florida law that can't be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the state courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida. Before it gets that far, call or email us; most problems can be solved with a conversation.
